What this is
Thief & Blend is a whiskey infinity bottle tracker for iOS. This page explains what happens to your information when you use the app or this website. The short version: the app collects nothing, and the website collects the ordinary technical minimum any web server sees.
The app
Your bottle lives on your phone. Thief & Blend does not require an account, does not ask for a login, and does not transmit your ledger, your tasting notes, your whiskeys, or your proof history anywhere. There are no analytics libraries and no crash reporting that phones home with your data. If a future version adds an optional feature that does send data off the device, such as gifting a pour to a friend or publishing a bottle publicly, that feature will say so plainly at the point you use it, and it will be something you choose to do, not something that happens by default.
Your ledger is yours. You can export it as JSON at any time, and deleting the app deletes your data with it, because there is no copy anywhere else.
This website
This site is a static set of pages with no login, no user accounts, and no tracking pixels. Like any web server, the hosting provider's infrastructure logs ordinary technical information for security and reliability, such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps. This is standard server operation, not something built into the site, and it is not used to build a profile of you or sold to anyone.
This site does not use advertising cookies, does not run third-party analytics, and does not share information with data brokers, because there is no information collected here to share.
Fonts
The typefaces on this site are hosted on this site's own server, not fetched from Google Fonts or any other third party. Loading a page here does not send a request to a font company.
Age
Thief & Blend is a tool for tracking whiskey and is intended for people of legal drinking age. It is not directed at children, and no information is knowingly collected from anyone under 21.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, for example when a social or sharing feature ships, this page will be updated and the date below will move. There is no mailing list to notify, because there is no mailing list.
